Reflexite uses our core competencies of optical engineering, microreplication, and polymer processing to provide microstructured polymeric optical components and films for the Management of Light®.
We design and manufacturer products that include Fresnel Circular and Cylindrical lenses, Fresnel Prisms and Beamsplitters, Lenticular Arrays, Light Guides, Motheye Antireflective Microstructures, Cube Corner Retroreflectors, Lens Arrays and Surface Relief Diffusers.
We make products that range in size from an optic for a microdisplay application to a prismatic film for RPTV’s. Reflexite can replicate very fine structures from prototoype to high volume applications. We can replicate structures that are as small as nanometer in size to millimeters in size. To the right, is an example of our Moth-eye Antireflective Microstructure which has cones 300 nm tall and spaces 250 nm apart. Reflexite Display Optics is an integrated supplier who provides a system solution from optical design to master tool fabrication to polymer replication and through to finishing. We have a staff of optical engineers who have design expertise in both refractive and diffractive optics. They use some of the latest modeling and testing resources commercially available, as well as some internally developed. We also utilize some of the latest state-of-the-art metrology equipment for verifying our designs and manufacturing processes. We have the manufacturing capabilities to work with many different materials, including acrylic, polycarbonate, cyclo-olefins, LDPE, HDPE and a range of proprietary chemistries to insure that you receive the appropriate component for your specific application. We have the capability to do finishing operations that may include coating, trimming, and precision assembly. We can customize parts with special features such as holes, slots, chamfers, or trim to unusual shapes. With our processes, we can produce a range of production volumes from one-of-a-kind to millions of units or square feet annually.
